Our Mission |
Our Vision |
We are members who promote, protect, and advocate for our schools, students, and professions.
We Value
|
To be an informed, engaged, inclusive, and collaborative union and the leading voice for education and labor.
Our HistoryEAEA became a representative association on January 27th, 1971 and continues to service its members to this day.
Founded in 1852, PSEA began as an organization of teachers from across Pennsylvania who shared common goals of identifying best practices, sharing information, and working to elevate the teaching profession. In many ways, the history of PSEA reflects the history of public education in Pennsylvania. www.psea.org |
Together we make the difference.
A message from EAEA's President, Kevin Deely
Dear Members,
On behalf of the EAEA Officer team, I want to welcome you back to a new school year. We hope that your summer was productive and restful and that you're energized and ready to help improve the lives of all the children you encounter in your daily work. Our schools have an incredibly talented staff filled with some of the most generous and compassionate educators anywhere. Please continue to teach with passion! The EAEA leadership team has come up with fun new ways that we can channel your various talents and passions to improve and build our union into the most well-respected organization in the Easton community. Our officers and building reps cannot do this alone: we need you to jump in! Please run for delegate, join a committee, or sign up for a state or national conference. I've learned about a number of conferences around the country that interested members can take advantage of - let me know how we can involve you! |
If you need me for any reason, please feel free to reach out. I'll be out to visit often and will do my best to keep you informed about everything I can. Stay tuned, and please have a wonderful first week of school.
All the best, Kevin Deely |
